Mrs. Benoff

About Me:

  I am so excited to be a part of the Beryl Family for the 2018-2019 school year.  This year I am teaching 4th grade.  This is my 21st year in education!  I taught elementary school and was a school counselor in Long Beach for 15 years. In 2014, I began as a long term substitute in Redondo Beach Unified School District.  I completed my Bachelor's Degree at Widener University in Philadelphia and my Masters in Pupil Personnel Services from Azusa Pacific University.  

  In my free time, I like to spend time with my family- Sean (6), Ryan (5), my husband Todd, and our dogs, Moose and Rocket. We enjoy traveling, hiking, and reading.  We travel back to the East Coast quite a bit, I am originally from Philadelphia and  my husband is from Virginia.  I moved to California in 1997 to begin my teaching career.
