Welcome to 5th grade!

I am excited to learn with you this year. I have worked in RBUSD for five years now. I began as a substitute teacher and worked as an Instructional Aide before becoming at teacher at Beryl Heights. I enjoy creating and cultivating relationships with each student, learning about them as individuals as well as learners. Each student brings their unique learning styles to the classroom, which I enjoy incorporating into the curriculum.

I live in the South Bay with my husband, 14 year-old twins, and a farmyard of pets. In my spare time I like to garden, read mystery novels, and play golf... especially in Palm Springs. I grew up in the midwest and enjoy our So-Cal winters much more than the chilly below zero temperatures I grew up with.
