Principal's Message
Dear Beryl Heights Bulldogs,
My name is Jennifer Friedlander, and I am honored to be the Principal of Beryl Heights Elementary School. Beryl is a gem in Redondo Beach not only for its beloved traditions, but for its dedication and commitment to educating the whole child in partnership with our students, families, and community. At Beryl, everyone is welcomed, included, and valued in an environment where ALL students can grow, thrive, and succeed.
Our students at Beryl are academically successful, but they also have opportunities to develop strong leadership skills, positive social connections, and their own unique strengths and interests through a variety of programs and supports. Our school provides a robust and rigorous education that will set them up for success in middle school, high school, college, military, and vocational programs and beyond. We set high expectations for our students and support them in meeting those expectations.
I want to extend a special welcome to our new Beryl families. You are joining an close-knit community with a strong Parent-Teacher Association, and I am looking forward to getting to meet you at a Beryl event soon. Please reach out if I can help with anything or if you’d just like to say hello.
