Introduction

Hello!

I'm Grayson Jones and I'm so thrilled to be your child's teacher! This is my second year as a 5th-grade teacher here at Beryl. I previously taught at a charter school in Inglewood for 3 years as a first-grade teacher. As a teacher, I aim to build a community within my classroom where we support everyone through their successes or mistakes. Mistakes are ALWAYS learning opportunities. Beyond that, I'm here to help your child grow and become an advocate for their learning journey, as I tell them we are learning for a lifetime not just a moment. A little about me, I'm born and raised in El Segundo, and have a son who attends ESMS. On the weekends, you can find me reading, out with friends, or mostly on the soccer/baseball field or the basketball court. I LOVE all sports and love to participate outside if I can. My teams are LA Rams, LAFC, Liverpool FC, Lakers, and Dodgers.
