Mrs. Trauner- Room 18 (5th grade)
I am excited to be a part of the 5th grade team again this year! I have taught for 7 years; in addition to Beryl, I have taught 6th grade in Seattle, WA and 1st grade in Fresno, CA. My husband’s job has moved us around the West Coast, but we are excited to call Southern California home for a while.
I am originally from a suburb outside of Chicago, called Wheaton, IL. I went to college at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN where I received my bachelor’s in elementary education with a reading specialty. Recently, I have gone back to Purdue for grad school. I am currently getting my Masters of Science in Learning Design and Technology. You could say, I am a proud boilermaker! Boiler Up!
In my spare time, my husband and I are always hiking, backpacking, or rock climbing somewhere in this great state! Our most recent trip was to Grand Teton National Park where we explored Cascade Canyon and enjoyed white water rafting. As you can tell, I am a huge outdoor fan and excited to lead our 5th graders during OSS!
